ShadowDM is built to help business owners intelligently filter and respond to their Instagram Direct Messages using AI — saving time without losing the human touch.

To provide our Service, we request the following permissions through the Meta Graph API:

Specifically, we collect your Instagram username and profile picture (via instagram_basic), and your incoming and outgoing Instagram Direct Messages (via instagram_manage_messages) which power our AI reply-suggestion engine.

Your data is used strictly to power the core features of ShadowDM. Messages are securely routed through our self-hosted infrastructure to generate AI-powered reply suggestions. Your data is never used for advertising, third-party profiling, or any purpose beyond delivering the Service.

Your data is processed on our self-hosted, secured VPS infrastructure. Message content is transiently processed to generate reply suggestions and is not permanently stored on our servers beyond the operational session. All data in transit is encrypted via TLS 1.2+.
